Environmental survey

Endangered Plant Survey, Nebraska Sandhills, Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.

We conducted a survey of all private and some publicly owned lands containing the Federally Endangered Blowout Penstemon (Penstemon haydenii), comparing population changes over the last 10 years in populations personally researched and including populations that have not been assessed since the late 1980’s.  The area assessed includes all known populations in the entire sandhills region of Nebraska.
